Reports: Bin Sharqi is close to joining Zamalek
Press reports confirmed that Zamalek Club is close to finalizing a deal to include former team player Ashraf Ben Sharqi during the current summer Mercato.
Al-Watan newspaper said that the player will arrive in Cairo within the next few hours in order to sign a contract with Zamalek.
The newspaper indicated that Ben Sharqi will join the Zamalek Club camp in Alexandria on August 29 in preparation for the Al-Ahly match on September 29.
Zamalek lost yesterday to FC Talaea El Gaish on penalty kicks in the 16th round match of the Egypt Cup after the end of regular and extra time in a 1-1 draw.
