Imam Ashour, a player for Al-Ahly Club and the Egyptian national team, received a tempting offer from one of the midfield clubs in the Roshan Saudi Professional League, during the current summer transfer period.

The Saudi offer came. To sign a contract with Imam Ashour for $6 million received by Al-Ahly club, i.e. approximately 300 million Egyptian pounds, in addition to the player’s salary.

An Egyptian players’ agent spoke with Imam Ashour. Expressing the Saudi club’s desire to obtain his services next season, Ashour threw the ball at Al-Ahly Stadium, which rejected the idea from the ground up.

The Al-Ahly club management refused, because Swiss coach Marcel Koller, the team’s technical director, had previously decided on his position on the departure of Imam Ashour in the next season.

Kohler stressed that it is impossible for him to agree to the departure of Imam Ashour currently because he is one of the most important pillars of the team.
