Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen bid farewell to his compatriot, Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, after retiring from international football with the German national team.
Ter Stegen wrote: Through his Instagram account: “Congratulations, Manuel, on your career with the German national team.”
He added: “You will forever remain a world champion and a legend in German football.”
It is expected that Ter Stegen will become the first goalkeeper for the German national team in the coming period.
