El-Shenawy talks about receiving an offer from Pyramids
Mohamed El-Shenawy, Al-Ahly's goalkeeper, spoke in television statements about an offer he received from Pyramids for a fabulous amount.
El-Shenawy said on the On Time Sports 1 channel: “There was a show when the club opened at first, buying and selling, and Ahmed Hassan was there and talking to me.”
He added: “Pyramids wanted me to buy and sell for 2 million dollars. Al-Ahly club refused, and then they came back with a loan offer for 4 million dollars, but the club refused.”
He continued: "I was still coming back from the World Cup, and Captain Mohamed Youssef called me and I told him what do you see? They said it would not work, and he was in a camp in Croatia at the time. I told him when would it be? He said in 4 days. I told him I would be in the camp.”
