Chelsea coach reveals the reason for Sterling's exclusion
Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca revealed the reason for excluding Raheem Sterling from the team’s squad to face Manchester City in the Premier League opener.
Maresca said in press statements: “Excluding Sterling is just a technical decision, and there is nothing else to say.”
He added: “Technical coaches are paid to make decisions, and sometimes Players don't like that."
This is the first time that Sterling has been excluded in his team's first match in the Premier League since 2012.
