Zamak announces Gomez's travel to Zamalek

Zamalek Club announced that the team's Portuguese coach, Jose Gomez, will leave Cairo today, Sunday, heading to his country to spend a period of vacation following the end of the team's matches in the Egyptian League competition.

Zamalek Club explained that Gomez is scheduled to return to Cairo on the 28th of this month to lead the team, after spending the vacation period in preparation for the new season’s matches.

Hence, Gomez’s absence from Zamalek’s matches in the Egypt Cup was confirmed, and he will return in order to prepare the players for the important match in the African Super Cup against Al-Ahly, scheduled for next September 27.

Gomez decided to give the players a 24-hour break from group training after playing the Mahalla Municipality match, with the team resuming training next Monday evening.
