Castro: We deserved to win against Al-Taawoun and qualify for the Super Final
The Portuguese Luis Castro, the coach of the Al-Nasr team, spoke about his team’s deserving victory over Al-Taawoun in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup.
Castro led Al-Alamy to the final match, to face Al-Hilal. And the competition is strong to win the title.
Castro stated that Al-Alamy deserved to win against Al-Taawoun, even though it is a respectable team.
The coach stressed the strong desire before today’s match to reach the final, and he actually qualified thanks to the players’ efforts.
The Portuguese coach thanked the Al-Nasr fans in the match stadium, which supported the team and helped it win despite the difficult rain conditions.
Al-Nasr is preparing to face Al-Hilal in the final next Saturday at 7:15 Mecca and Cairo time, 8:15 Abu Dhabi time.
