Emam Ashour, the Al-Ahly club star, sent a message of support via Instagram to Ahmed Fattouh, the Zamalek club player.
Ahmed Fattouh was imprisoned after causing the death of a person by running him over with his car.
Imam Ashour posted a story on Instagram including: A picture of Ahmed Fattouh and commented: “God willing, may God grant you relief, my beloved.”
He added: “And it comes back stronger than the first. I miss you, my brother.”
