Ahmed Salem, the official spokesman for Zamalek Club, revealed the position of the White Castle administration regarding the departure of Ahmed Sayed Zizo, the team’s playmaker, to go professional after receiving two Gulf offers.

The Zamalek administration recently received two offers from Saudi Arabia’s NEOM and Qatar’s Al Arabi to obtain the services of Ahmed Sayed Zizo during the current summer transfer period.

Salem said through his account on the social networking site “Facebook” that the Zamalek Board of Directors is committed to continuing Ahmed Sayed Zizo among the ranks of the white team.

Salem wrote: “The Zamalek Club Board of Directors, headed by Captain Hussein Labib, confirms its commitment to renewing the player Ahmed Sayed Zizo.”

The Zamalek spokesman added that there will be a session that will bring together club officials, the player and his father after his return from vacation.

The Qatari club Al-Arabi had entered into serious negotiations with Zamalek during the past hours, in order to sign Zizou this summer.
