The President of the Federation reveals the sources of financing the team’s deals
Loay Mashabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the non-profit Al-Ittihad Club Foundation, revealed the source of funding for the new deals that were concluded during the current summer period.
The journalist, Khaled Al-Shenaif, stated that All Al-Ittihad deals came from the club’s revenues and not from the funding of the recruitment committee.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ittihad Club signed 3 foreign players during the summer period, namely; Algerian Houssem Aouar, French winger Moussa Diaby, and Serbian goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic.
Machaabi confirmed that Al-Ittihad’s new deals this summer came with support for the recruitment program, noting that not all of the required amounts were paid, but It will be decided in the coming days.
He continued: “It is true that due to procedural matters, the amounts have not yet arrived, but the guarantees are in place and the pace is accelerating and will be resolved within days.” We found nothing from the committee except professionalism, high transparency, and great support in all files, which will be clarified later.”
