Castro confirms that Sadio Mane will remain with Al-Nassr

The Portuguese Luis Castro, coach of Al-Nasr Club, confirmed that the team’s problem last season in terms of receiving goals will decrease during the next season.

Luis Castro said in the press conference: “Next season, Al-Nasr conceded many goals, and I talked about that, but the problem is not with the defense, but with the entire team.”

He added: “Our team needs to defend and attack together, and next season we will concede fewer goals than last season.”

He continued: “The preparation camp was difficult and the results of the friendly matches were contrary to expectations, but they affected us in any way.”

He stressed that he has a lot of confidence in his team and is happy to compete for the first titles of the new season in the Saudi Super Cup.

Regarding Al-Nasr’s needs for new deals, he responded and said “The market is very difficult, and the administration is working on this issue, and there are several names being floated around the world.”
