Press reports revealed that the French club Nice is moving towards alternative defensive options due to the failure to reach an agreement with Al-Ahly in the deal to include Mohamed Abdel Moneim.
Nice made an official offer to include Mohamed Abdel Moneim this summer, but Al-Ahly club believes that the offer is financially weak and informed the French party of its financial requests to agree to the departure of its defender.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Nice club has entered the race to sign Canadian Moise Bombito, the American Colorado Rapids defender.
Romano indicated that Nice is placing Bombeto at the top of its defensive options to compensate for the departure of Frenchman Jean Todibo to English West Ham.
He added that the French club Olympique Lyonnais had tried to sign the Canadian Bombito, but the deal failed.
