Al Ain rejects the departure of its star to the Saudi League
The Emirati club Al Ain responded to the Saudi club Al-Ittihad's request to sign Sufyan Rahimi, the team's player, this summer.
Saudi media indicated that Al-Ittihad will make an attractive offer to include Sufyan Rahimi in its ranks in the current summer Mercato.
Mohamed Ibrahim, the sports official, said Al Ain Club in media statements: “Sufyan Rahimi Ainawi 100%, and we have no interest in considering the offers presented to the player.”
He added: “Sufyan is aware of Al Ain’s desire to continue with the team, and the player’s current relationship with Al Ain Club is greater than football, and therefore there is no room for him to leave the team at the present time.”
