Guardiola confirms Alvarez's departure to Manchester City

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola confirmed the transfer of Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid, during the current Mercato.

Pep said: “ Julian wants to leave, and Atletico I know a big club, so it's okay, good luck to him, we loved him and we won everything. I wish him all the best."

He added: "Alvarez's replacement, we'll see, there Internal discussions about this matter, we may sign a new striker or we may not, but we will think and see what needs to be done.”

Alvarez will join Atletico Madrid for 75 million euros plus To 20 million euros in additional incentives.
