Kohler sings praises to Al-Ahly players after winning the league title

Swiss Marcel Kohler, Al-Ahly coach, described his team's best players as greats, after officially clinching the Egyptian League title.

Al-Ahly succeeded in clinching the 44th Egyptian League title in its history after defeating Smouha with a clean goal in time, scored by Mohamed Magdy Afsha yesterday, Thursday.

Kohler said in his statements after the match, that Al-Ahly was able to win the title in light of the pressures that the players went through.

He explained that he found it very difficult to give the players a one-day rest period in order to spend it with their families and loved ones.

Kohler praised Al-Ahly players and described them as greats because they achieved many great goals. Records and their desire was serious to win the title by defeating Smouha, and not just settle for a draw point, which would have been enough to win the title as well.
