The Al-Ahly club management, headed by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, succeeded in reaching an agreement with Tunisian international Ali Maaloul, the team’s left back, in order to renew his contract.
The club officials settled Al-Ahly agreed to renew Maaloul’s contract for a period of one season, renewable for another season, in exchange for one million and 100 thousand dollars per season.
Reports indicated that Al-Ahly club has put the final touches in place. On renewing the contract of Tunisian Ali Maaloul, explaining that an official announcement will be made within the next few days.
The technical staff is currently missing Maaloul’s services, due to the injury to his Achilles tendon that he suffered against Esperance of Tunisia, in the first leg of the CAF Champions League final at the Hamadi Al-Aqrabi Olympic Stadium in Rades.
