Former Zamalek star Ahmed Hossam Mido confirmed in television statements that he is the best talent to have emerged from the youth sector in Zamalek in the last 30 years.

Mido added on the “On Time Stadium” program: “Who is like Mido in Egypt? Is there a striker who has appeared in Egypt in the last 30 years like me?” p class="MsoNormal" dir="RTL" style="direction: rtl; unicode-bidi: embed;">

He continued: “I am the best talent to have emerged from Zamalek’s youth sector in the last 30 years, and Hossam Hassan, Imad Miteb, and Amr Zaki are not like me. I am better than them.”

He continued: “Who can play at the level you played at for so many years? Who played as a starter for Zamalek when he was 16 years old? Who played with Egypt when he was 17 years old? As a result of football and capabilities, I am better than Mohamed Salah, but he outperformed me in continuing because of his personality, and it is not right to compare me to any emerging player.”
