Chelsea coach talks about their position on the Mercato

Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca spoke about the club's position on the transfer market this summer.

The Blues concluded several deals this summer, most notably Tosin. Adarabioyo, Omari Keleman, Marc Guyot, Kiernan Halen, Renato Fegan, Caleb Willey

The coach said: “Are you involved in selecting new signings? How can I accept a player who does not fit in? The idea I want to play with?”

He added: “I do not think there is any coach in the world who does not participate in making decisions.”

He concluded: “The squad we have is very good, but if there is an opportunity to put in more effort, we will do so.”
