The former Al-Ittihad coach is on the cusp of returning to River Plate
The famous journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that former Saudi Al-Ittihad coach Marcelo Gallardo is on the cusp of returning again to lead the Argentine club River Plate.
Galardo had left for the Saudi Al-Ittihad in November 2023, but he was unable to adapt to the Saudi club and left the technical leadership of the Saudi Al-Ittihad after only 7 months.
Romano said on the "X" platform that Gallardo will sign a contract with River Plate until December 2025.
The Al-Ittihad team played 33 official matches with Gallardo, where it won In 15 matches, it lost 14 and tied 4 times.
