Khaled Bibou, director of football at Al-Ahly Club, notified Mahmoud Al-Khatib, club president, of the latest developments in Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba’s crisis with Swiss coach Marcel Kohler, after the relationship between the two parties became tense recently.
The Swiss coach criticized Kahraba’s delay in going on to the field for the warm-up that preceded the last National Bank match, as the player was nearly 15 minutes late for the warm-up.
This matter angered Kohler, before the start of the National Bank match, and the Swiss coach complained to his assistants about the player’s behavior, and matters became more complicated after the player claimed that he was injured, causing him to miss the team’s collective training on Friday and Saturday.
Kohler responded to Kahraba’s actions by excluding him from the Arab Contractors match roster, and Kohler’s relationship with Kahraba now indicates that the player’s days in Al-Ahly are numbered and that he will leave abroad soon, according to what the journalist Muhammad Al-Laithi reported.
