Kroos is the best German player, and Alonso is the best coach
Former Real Madrid midfield star Toni Kroos won the Best German Player award for last season.
Sky Germany reported that Kroos won the award. The award came after he received 285 votes, ahead of Leverkusen player Florian Wirtz, who received 246 votes.
Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso won the Best Coach award, ahead of Sebastian Hoeness ( 74 votes) and Frank Schmidt (50) in second and third place.
Alonso won the league and cup last season with Leverkusen.
It is reported that Kroos retired from football permanently this summer.
