Al-Ahly club officials rejected the departure of Mohamed Magdy Afsha, the team’s player, to the Saudi League after receiving an offer from Al-Wahda Club.
Al-Wahda Club wants to include Afsha for a season. One was on loan, but Al-Ahly rejected the offer, according to reports from Al-Masry Al-Youm.
The sources indicated that Al-Ahly club refused to transfer Afsha due to the weak financial compensation offered. Al-Wahda Club’s offer stopped at only $500,000 for the player’s loan.
Al-Ahly decided to punish Afsha by paying a fine of 200,000 Egyptian pounds after his recent behavior in the team’s match against Ceramica in the league competition.
Afsha appeared angry during his substitution in the Al-Ahly and Ceramica Cleopatra match, which prompted the administrative body to impose a financial fine on him.
