Al-Ittihad is negotiating with two goalkeepers to sign with one of them

Al-Ittihad Club is looking forward to resolving the issue of the goalkeeping position as soon as possible, before the start of the new season of the Saudi Roshan League.

Al-Ittihad officials are intensifying their negotiations with Foreign goalkeepers are currently looking to sign a new goalkeeper to replace Brazilian Marcelo Grohe, who left after his contract expired.

The Union tried to attract Brazilian Ederson, Manchester City goalkeeper, but the negotiations reached a dead end due to a dispute over the financial compensation for the deal.

Journalist Rudi Galit indicated through his account on the social networking site “X” that the Saudi Investment Fund is still looking for a new goalkeeper to join the Al-Ittihad squad this summer.

Galit explained that the Union contacted two guards recently, namely; Portuguese Diogo Costa and Serbian Predrag Rajkovic.

Galit said: “In addition to Diogo Costa, the last goalkeeper Al-Ittihad contacted is Rajkovic, who expressed his desire to join the Saudi club.”
