Walid Al-Tarhouni, director of contracts at the Libyan club Al-Suwaihli, responded to reports linking his club to contracting with Amr Al-Soulia and Ahmed Qandousi, the Al-Ahly duo, in addition to the Zamalek striker, during the summer transfer period.

Al-Tarhouni said in television statements: “The negotiations with Qandousi began last month of the 12th, and we have not officially negotiated with Al-Ahly yet.”

He continued his speech: “There are ongoing negotiations with Amr El-Soulia’s agent, and we have reached a good line of negotiations with his agent, and the player has a penalty clause in his contract that allows him to move to any club outside Egypt.”

He continued: “We officially contracted with Mahmoud Alaa from Zamalek, and we are seeking to include a player from Zamalek who plays in the striker position, but I cannot reveal his identity.”

He concluded his speech: “We withdrew from the contract deal with John Ebuka due to financial exaggeration on the part of Ceramica Cleopatra Club, and the value of the contract was exaggerated. We sought to negotiate with players from the Egyptian League because it is characterized by strength.” And competition, and Egyptian players are different from players in Africa.”
