Spain advances to the quarter-finals of the Paris Olympics
The Spanish Olympic team qualified for the quarter-finals of Olympic football held in the French capital, Paris, after defeating its Dominican counterpart 3-1.
The Spanish team advanced by Fermin Lopez in the 24th minute, then the Dominican Republic equalized through Angel de Oca in the 38th minute.
In the 55th minute, Alejandro Baena scored a second goal for Spain, while Miguel Gutierrez scored. A third goal in the 70th minute.
The Spanish national team raised its score to 6 points in the lead, then Egypt with a point temporarily, then the Dominican Republic with a point, then Uzbekistan without any points in the Temporarily last place.
