Besiktas negotiates with Al-Ahly to include Demiral
Treki international Merih Demiral, defender of Al-Ahly Saudi club, is on the radar of one of the Turkish clubs, to sign a contract with him during the upcoming summer transfer period.
Al-Ahly club management succeeded. In contracting with Demiral, 26 years old, during the last summer transfer period, coming from the Italian club Atalanta, for a period of 3 seasons.
The Besiktas administration entered into serious negotiations with its counterpart in Al-Ahly, to contract with Demiral, after his brilliance with the Turkish national team in the Euro 2024 tournament, which was held in Germany.
Al-Ahly club officials requested 15 million euros to dispense with Demiral’s services, which made the Turkish club inquire about his loan, according to what the Turkish newspaper “Fanatik” reported on Friday.
