Uruguayan Nahitan Nández, a player for Al Qadisiyah, has intensified his rehabilitation training to recover from an ankle injury, hoping to join the upcoming match against Al Nassr following the resumption of the Saudi Pro League.

Nahitan Nández has been excluded from the current Uruguay national team camp based on a recommendation from Al Qadsiah's medical staff, who advised him to remain in Saudi Arabia and avoid any additional effort that could delay his recovery.

The Uruguayan midfielder's injury dates back to the match against Al Hilal in the 11th round of the Saudi Pro League, which took place on October 23 and ended with Al Qadisiyah losing 3-2.

The club's medical staff contacted their counterparts in the Uruguay national team and sent a report detailing the nature of the injury, which resulted in the player being exempted from joining the camp.

Nahitan Nández is taking advantage of the international break to continue his rehabilitation program, as he is participating in intensive training inside a gym, aiming to regain his physical fitness.

The player continues to work on his recovery despite his Al Qadsiah teammates receiving a short break, in an effort to reach the best possible condition before the return of the competitions.

Al Qadsiah's coaching and administrative staff hope Nahitan Nández will fully recover during the break, so the coach can rely on him in the team's first match after the resumption of the Saudi Pro League.

Al Qadsiah are set to face Al Nassr on November 22 at Al Awal Park in Riyadh, as part of the Saudi Pro League.
