Hamed Al-Shanqity: My goal is to become the best goalkeeper in Saudi Arabia

Hamed Al-Shanqity stated in an interview with the Saudi Pro League that his move to Al-Kholood came in search of a real opportunity to participate and prove his abilities, praising the club's support for young Saudi talents and providing them with space to gain experience.

He stated that saving a penalty against Al-Ittihad in his first appearance, followed by a victory over Al-Ahli, gave him great confidence. He also revealed that he looks up to goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais and benefits from his sporting and personal experiences.

Al-Kholood's goalkeeper pointed out that his brother Saad, the former Al-Shabab goalkeeper, supports him in difficult times, recalling how he overcame the mistake that led to a goal against Al-Hilal, thanks to his family's support and his continued hard work.

Hamed Al-Shanqity concluded his remarks by affirming that his ambition is to play an official match with the Saudi Arabia national team, then reach the status of the best goalkeeper in Saudi Arabia, while continuing to develop his level and achieve his goals.

Hamed Al-Shanqity, the Al-Kholood goalkeeper, expressed his happiness at winning the Best Young Player award for August, confirming that his next goal is continuous development after achieving his dream of being a regular starter in the Saudi Pro League.
