FC Barcelona achieves record revenue from El Clásico tickets
FC Barcelona achieved record revenues from ticket sales for the match against Real Madrid, which took place on Sunday at Spotify Camp Nou, totaling €19,105,768. This figure surpasses the previous record set in May, which was €16.4 million.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", attendance at the match reached 60,055 spectators, compared to 62,213 spectators in the previous encounter. However, the rise in ticket prices and the increase in VIP seats contributed to achieving higher revenues, with the average ticket price being €984 excluding taxes, a 10% increase from last season, while the average price for VIP seats reached €2,727.
The report indicates that these revenues pave the way for achieving larger figures when the stadium is completed and its capacity is raised to 104,600 seats, including 9,500 VIP seats, compared to around 5,000 currently. According to club data, season ticket holders and members represented 86% of the stadium's normal capacity during the match.
Record figures have also been achieved in merchandise sales at Spotify Camp Nou, with sales exceeding €800,000 for the first time in two consecutive days. Additionally, the promotional product line in collaboration with rapper Tyler, the Creator, generated the highest revenue among artist-related collections in FC Barcelona's stores and its online shop.
