Caio Jorge opens the door to a return to Juventus

Brazilian forward Caio Jorge has expressed his desire to return to Juventus, stating that he is now more ready for success in Italy after regaining his form and shining in Cruzeiro's shirt.

The 24-year-old has delivered impressive performances with Cruzeiro, scoring 21 goals in 33 matches last season, before netting 11 goals in 24 appearances this season, reigniting questions about his previous experience with Juventus.

In statements reported by the Italian newspaper "Tuttosport" from the program "Cronache di Spogliatoi", Caio Jorge spoke about his experience with the Italian team, saying: "During the five months I spent at Juventus, I played fewer minutes than I expected. I was hoping to get at least 20 minutes in every match, especially since I was training at full capacity during the week and scoring goals in friendly matches. But the injury definitely affected my career with the team."

The Brazilian striker spoke about the possibility of returning to Italy: "I am ready now to return to Italy, and I want to go back to Juventus, and I believe I will perform at a much better level now. I dream of playing again in Italy, as I already know the language and love Italian football, but I was very young when I arrived there."

He continued: "I am still very much connected to the club, as it helped me during the difficult time I faced with injury, believed in me, and gave me the opportunity to achieve my dream of playing in Europe. I remember talking to Massimiliano Allegri and Pavel Nedved before signing for Juventus, and they expressed their strong desire to see me in the team's shirt."

Caio Jorge's patellar tendon injury affected his career at Juventus, but he has returned to Brazil and regained his form with Cruzeiro. Meanwhile, the Italian club retains 30% of his future resale value.
