Perez to miss El Clásico between Barcelona and Real Madrid

Florentino Pérez, the president of Real Madrid, will not attend the clásico match against Barcelona, scheduled to take place next Sunday at Spotify Camp Nou. Additionally, the traditional lunch between the two clubs' managements will not be held before the match.

Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" has clarified that the institutional relationship between Barcelona and Real Madrid remains cut off since the royal club began its movements related to the Negreira case, which means Pérez has not visited the Catalan city, as has been the case in recent seasons.

The upcoming clash carries added significance with manager José Mourinho returning to Barcelona, but the clásico will not see a new encounter between the presidents of the two clubs, Joan Laporta and Florentino Pérez.

The newspaper added that Pérez, the honorary president of Real Madrid, was the only representative of the royal club in the main stand during last season's Clasico at Spotify Camp Nou, while one of the vice-presidents of Real Madrid is expected to attend the stand this year.

Regarding the expected attendance of high-profile figures and officials, the participation of most of them remains unconfirmed, while artist Tyler, the Creator will be present, displaying his GOLF brand logo on the front of Barcelona's shirt.
