Toney returns to Al Ahly FC training ahead of clash with Al Khaleej

Ivan Toney participated in Al Ahly FC's training session on Wednesday after recovering from an injury that kept him out of the match against Al-Fayha FC last week. He has left the decision regarding his participation in the upcoming match to coach Marino Pusic, according to the team's tactical needs.

English striker Ivan Toney suffered a hip joint injury during training ahead of the match against Al-Fayha FC, which ended in a 3-2 victory for Al Ahly FC last Monday, as part of the tenth round of the Saudi Pro League.

Ivan Toney has impressive stats this season, having scored 11 goals in eight matches in the Saudi Pro League, placing him at the top of the scoring chart. This makes his return even more significant for Al Ahly FC ahead of their next match.

In contrast, Bousic has completed the tactical preparations to host Al Khaleej at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium in Jeddah, while awaiting Ivan Toney's final status and the possibility of utilizing his services in the match.

Al Ahly FC enters the match sitting in fifth place with 18 points, while Al Khaleej is in tenth place with 12 points, in a clash where both teams are looking to boost their tally and improve their position in the Saudi Pro League.

Al Ahly FC have welcomed back their English striker Ivan Toney to training after he recovered from injury and received medical clearance. However, his participation against Al Khaleej on Thursday in the 11th round of the Saudi Pro League has not yet been confirmed.
