Bremer insists on staying with Juventus and refuses to consider leaving
Gleison Bremer wants to continue his journey with Juventus and is not considering a move to any other club, despite recent reports linking him with a transfer to Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports in a report published today, Wednesday, that the rumors circulating about negotiations for the Brazilian defender's transfer to Bayer 04 Leverkusen are not based on confirmed information, given the player's desire to continue wearing the Juventus shirt.
Bremer is determined to stay with Juventus, despite the difficult period the team is experiencing under Luciano Spalletti, as he wants to prove his worth on the pitch, away from the rumors surrounding his future. The report confirmed that the player and his entourage are not considering the option of leaving the club at this time.
Bremer has become a key player for Juventus since joining from Torino in 2022, having played 131 matches for the team, scoring 14 goals and providing 5 assists, while also winning the Coppa Italia with them. The Brazilian defender took on the captain's armband in the absence of Manuel Locatelli due to injury, but faced criticism following the loss to Lazio after stating he cannot "carry all his teammates on his shoulders" during tough times.
Randal Kolo Muani revealed that the disagreements following the match were addressed in the dressing room, stating: "The captain spoke after the match. There was some tension, but we discussed the matter constructively in the dressing room. We are the ones who need to prove on the pitch what we can deliver. We talked about it in the right way, like a family facing its problems."
