Real Madrid ends speculation about Mourinho's future
Spanish newspaper "Okdiario" has confirmed that Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho has the support of Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid, alongside Ángel Sánchez and Juni Calafat, noting that the position of head coach has not been in doubt within the club.
According to the report, Real Madrid are not looking for alternatives for the coaching staff at this time, nor are they considering hiring Didier Deschamps or any other coach to succeed Mourinho, as confidence in him continues within the corridors of the royal club.
This information comes in the wake of media reports discussing the possibility of José Mourinho's departure if the team's performance and results do not improve. It has been claimed that Florentino has included French coach Didier Deschamps among the potential options to succeed him.
However, Okdiario presents a different narrative, confirming that Real Madrid's management continues to support Mourinho, describing him as part of the future of the club's technical project, with no current moves to seek a replacement coach.
The Portuguese coach's contract with Real Madrid ends in the summer of 2029.
