Impressive numbers reveal the secret behind Pedri and Rodri's brilliance with FC Barcelona

Pedri and Rodri continue to deliver outstanding performances with FC Barcelona, having played a prominent role in the victory over Real Betis by a score of 5-2 in La Liga, confirming the great synergy between them in midfield under the management of Hans Flick.

Mundo Deportivo reports that the duo has overcome doubts about their ability to play together after a standout performance against Galatasaray, before raising their level during the match against Real Betis, where controlling the midfield was one of the keys to FC Barcelona's victory.

Rodri delivered one of his best performances in a Barcelona shirt, scoring his first goal for the club. The midfielder made 137 appearances, the highest among the team's players, completed 126 successful passes out of 129, created two scoring opportunities, and regained possession three times, in addition to his role in limiting the threat of counter-attacks from Real Betis.

Rodri's balanced performance has given Pedri more space to create and play, with Pedri recording 132 touches, completing 104 successful passes out of 113, recovering the ball five times, and creating two scoring opportunities.

The duo completed 230 successful passes, compared to 256 successful passes for all Real Betis players, indicating their impact on the game's rhythm and FC Barcelona's control of midfield.

The performances of Pedri and Rodri provide a significant boost for FC Barcelona ahead of their matches against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, as Flick relies on their synergy and ability to control the midfield during the upcoming tests.
