Former Al-Hilal president Abdullah bin Musaid has criticized the continued presence of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi at the helm of the team, stating that his stay could hinder the development of the club and prevent it from reaching the level that matches its potential.

Ben Musa, speaking through the Thamanya channels, stated that Al-Hilal needs to change its coaching staff at the end of the current season, confirming that the club has the components to deliver a stronger performance and achieve better results with a coach that matches its ambitions.

The former president of Al-Hilal cited an American proverb suggesting that being satisfied with a very good level can be the biggest obstacle to achieving greatness, explaining that acceptable success should not prevent the team from striving for better.

It was pointed out that replacing a coach who is achieving poor results is a clear decision, while it becomes more difficult to evaluate a coach who fluctuates between success and failure, as they may keep the team from fully benefiting from its capabilities.

Bin Musaid explained that Al-Hilal's performance under Inzaghi raises questions. The team is not achieving poor results, but their level on the pitch does not reach the required convincing standard and does not reflect the image that their fans expect.

These statements reignite the debate about Inzaghi's future with Al-Hilal and his ability to enhance the team's performance and meet the fans' expectations, amid calls for the team to appear stronger and more convincing in the upcoming phase.
