Giovani: Match against Al-Shabab is tough.. Al-Safari misses out due to injury
Giovani Solinas described the upcoming match against Al-Shabab as difficult, highlighting the opponent's impressive players and extensive experience ahead of the fixture scheduled for Monday in the 10th round of the Saudi Pro League.
Solinas stated during the press conference that Al-Shabab is one of the well-known teams in the Saudi Pro League, featuring high-potential players like Yannick Carrasco, alongside Roger Martinez and Ricardo Matías, who have experience in both the English and Italian leagues.
The coach explained that reviewing previous youth matches revealed their ability to handle tough encounters, which requires Al Faisaly to prepare well and focus on the details of the match to achieve the desired result.
Solinas revealed that Abdulrahman Al-Safari's absence from the last match is due to an injury sustained during the friendly match against Al-Hazm during the international break, confirming that the player requires medical follow-up and a recovery period, and will not be ready for the match against Al-Shabab.
Regarding the pressure of upcoming commitments, Al-Faisaly's coach clarified that his current focus is on the match against Al-Shabab, noting that the succession of matches imposes physical burdens that are difficult to avoid, especially with the importance of consecutive encounters.
Sulinhas confirmed that thoughts about the match against Al-Nassr will begin after the encounter with Al-Shabab, with attention then turning to the Al-Faiha derby. He emphasized the need to approach each match independently and give it full focus.
