Luis Enrique, the coach of Paris Saint-Germain, spoke about the condition of Portuguese full-back Nuno Mendes, who left the match against Strasbourg injured. He also addressed the missed penalty and the development of Ousmane Dembélé following the 3-1 victory over Strasbourg in Ligue 1.

The Spanish coach provided an update on Nuno Mendes' injury, stating: "I hope it is a minor injury. We didn't want to take any risks, and we will assess his condition tomorrow," indicating that the club has not yet determined the severity of the injury or how long the player will be sidelined.

Regarding the missed penalty, Luis Enrique explained that the team needs to work on this aspect, stating: "We must practice penalties, as we do not have a specialist player, but every time we reached penalties, the players showed character and quality. However, it is true that we do not have a specialist in executing them."

Paris Saint-Germain's coach spoke about the impact of substitutes, explaining: "When the substitutes come on, they are less fatigued than the other players, and larger spaces appear. All matches are difficult, especially away from home, and I like to give my players the opportunity to prove their readiness. We are among the top three positions, and we are happy with that."

Luis Enrique praised Ousmane Dembélé's development and his ability to read the game, confirming that his previous experience at FC Barcelona helped him improve his understanding of movement and positioning in different areas of the pitch.

The Spanish coach said: "He has trained at the best football school, which is FC Barcelona," adding: "Understanding the game is essential for us, and when you have players with this experience, it makes a completely different situation for us."

Enrique joked: "He was angry because he missed the penalty," before adding: "Ousmane is a very different player, and he plays a different kind of football. It is a pleasure to have him with us."
