Gomez: Al Fateh's spirit is his biggest weapon, and Al Khaleej can develop

José Gomes, the coach of Al Khaleej, has urged his players to maintain the enthusiasm and fighting spirit they have shown recently, ahead of their match against Al Fateh on Sunday, in the 10th round of the Saudi Pro League.

Gomez stated in the press conference that evaluating the opponent does not rely solely on technical aspects, but also includes the passion, fight, and energy that players bring on the pitch, which are elements that distinguish Al Fateh.

Al Khaleej's coach emphasized the need to enter the match while maintaining his team's identity and style, preparing to deal with the competitive spirit of their opponent in order to achieve a positive result.

Gomez expressed confidence in his players' abilities and their potential for development, relying on the quality of the available players and the effort the team is putting in, despite the varying results and performances in recent matches.

The coach explained that Al Khaleej has gone through periods where they did not perform at the required level, with some matches ending in defeat or a draw, while they delivered a good performance in other encounters without achieving victory.

Gomez stated that his team clearly deserved victory in their last match, expressing hope to capitalize on their technical improvement and turn it into a positive result against Al Fateh in the 10th round of the Saudi Pro League.
