Al-Hilal without injuries ahead of match against Al-Hazm in Saudi Pro League
Al-Hilal have regained full fitness ahead of their match against Al-Hazm in the 10th round of the Saudi Pro League, as the club's medical room has been free of injuries for the first time since the start of the season, providing a strong boost for the coaching staff.
Salem Al-Dawsari has returned to team training on Friday, making him available for official matches after recovering from the injury that kept him out of training in recent times.
Italian coach Simone Inzaghi will decide on Al-Dawsari's inclusion in the final squad during Saturday's training ahead of the match at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, amid anticipation for his return to the lineup.
Al-Hilal's injury-free squad gives Inzaghi broader options for selecting the right lineup, after several players have been in treatment and rehabilitation since the start of the season.
Al-Hilal players resumed their daily training sessions after returning from the Qatari capital Doha, where the team faced Al-Sadd in the AFC Champions League, before intensifying preparations for the upcoming domestic match.
This comes after the postponement of Al-Hilal's match against Riyadh, which was scheduled to take place last Friday, to December 19, by a decision from the Saudi Pro League.
Al-Hilal are currently in second place in the Saudi Pro League standings with 21 points from eight matches, one point behind leaders Al-Qadisiyah, who have played nine games. This increases the importance of the upcoming match against Al-Hazm in the title race.
