Al Nassr's coaching staff, led by Australian manager Ange Postecoglou, are awaiting the medical results of defenders Mohamed Simakan and Nader Al-Sharari ahead of training resuming on Sunday evening.

The decision on the participation of the duo in the match against Neom, scheduled for next Tuesday at Al Awal Park in Riyadh, as part of the 10th round of the Saudi Pro League, depends on their readiness according to the upcoming medical report.

Mohamed Simakan suffered a strong bruise to his ankle during the match against Neftchi on Monday, as part of the second round of the AFC Champions League. He is currently continuing his treatment program at the club's clinic.

Nader Al-Sharari is suffering from a strain in his hamstring after sustaining an injury during training last Wednesday, with anticipation surrounding the determination of his ability to return and participate in the upcoming match.

Postecoglou hopes to make use of all available players to enhance Al Nassr's chances of achieving a positive result, especially with the upcoming local and continental commitments and the need for complete defensive options.

Al Nassr are preparing to return to the Saudi Pro League after their match against Al Ahli, which was scheduled for the 9th round, was postponed to March 6th, following a decision by the Saudi Professional League.

Al Nassr are currently in third place in the table with 19 points, having collected them from eight matches, after achieving six victories, one draw, and one defeat, ahead of their upcoming match against Neom.
