Fabian Hurtsler, the German manager of Brighton, has successfully made a significant transformation in the team's journey, having been threatened with decline during last season. They are now among the teams aspiring to compete for qualification to the UEFA Champions League, according to a report published by the British newspaper "Daily Mail".

According to the report, Brighton experienced one of their toughest periods around eight months ago, when they lost at home to Crystal Palace by a goal to nil, amid chants from fans calling for the sacking of Hortsler, after the team had achieved only one win in 12 matches in the Premier League.

However, the club's management, led by owner Tony Bloom, stood by the German coach, who returned to basics and utilized the experience of James Milner, leading Brighton to seven victories in 11 matches, moving from 14th place to 8th, securing qualification for the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Brighton are set to face Crystal Palace again on Sunday, but under completely different circumstances, as they sit in third place after achieving four wins and a draw in their first six matches. They have also won their last three matches with a total score of 10-0, including a notable victory over Arsenal, the defending champions, showcasing the significant progress the team has made under the management of Hortsler.
