Reinier opens the door to a return to Real Madrid

Brazilian star Reinier Jesus has spoken about his experience with Real Madrid, confirming that it did not go as he had expected, but it contributed to his maturity on both personal and professional levels.

Clube Atlético Mineiro player said: "My experience with Real Madrid was nothing like I expected at all, but I believe I have matured a lot in every way."

Regarding the possibility of returning to Real Madrid, he stated: "Why not? Who wouldn't want that? But the current time is not suitable, as I am 100% focused on Clube Atlético Mineiro, which has trusted me and my footballing abilities and made a great effort to sign me. I will do my utmost to repay this trust and affection."

Reinier spoke about his relationship with his coaches at Real Madrid, saying: "I am a lucky person because I had the honor of sharing the dressing room with great legends. They all treated me well and helped me in their time."

He added about his relationship with Raúl, Zinedine Zidane, and Carlo Ancelotti: "My communication with Raúl was greater; he taught me a lot. Zidane seemed to like my style, but I was on loan to Borussia Dortmund during his time at Real Madrid. As for Ancelotti, we didn't have much communication, but he was always very respectful. I wished to work with him, but I never got that opportunity."

Speaking about the players who supported him during his tough time in the Spanish capital, he said: "The Brazilian players were the closest to me, and that's natural, but my relationship with everyone was wonderful. I have many beautiful memories from Valdebebas."

He also pointed out what he regrets most about his experience with Real Madrid, explaining: "No, there is nothing particularly important, except that I did not get the chance to play a full season with the first team. That was a decisive factor in my career during my time in Spain."

Reflecting on his memories with Real Madrid, Reinier concluded his remarks by saying: "I carry with me many lessons learned."
