Mourinho considers calling up Militão for Sevilla clash
Portuguese manager José Mourinho is considering calling up Brazilian defender Éder Militão to the squad for the match against Sevilla, scheduled for Sunday, in La Liga, after a long absence due to injury.
According to journalist Sergio Kirante, Éder Militão is close to returning to Real Madrid's squad after being out of action for 181 days, as he nears regaining his fitness to participate in official matches.
In recent weeks, Brazilian defender Éder Militão has been participating in group training normally, having made significant progress in his rehabilitation program. This enhances his chances of being considered by the coaching staff for the upcoming match against Sevilla.
Éder Militão underwent surgery on April 28 after suffering a tear in the tendon near the hamstring in his left leg, an injury that kept him from participating with the team during the past period.
Éder Militão's potential return would provide a significant boost to Real Madrid's defense, given the player's physical abilities and extensive experience, especially with the team needing additional options in the backline during the upcoming phase of the season.
