Doubts over AS Roma duo's participation against Genoa

AS Roma have suffered a setback as players Mano Kone and Paulo Dybala face muscular issues during their match against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, raising doubts about their readiness for upcoming matches.

Frenchman Manu Koné left the pitch in the 17th minute of the match after feeling pain in his hamstring, with Nicolo Bizzarri coming on in his place.

In contrast, the Argentine Paulo Dybala was unable to return to the pitch at the start of the second half after suffering from a muscle issue, with Rodrygo Mora replacing him.

Gian Piero Gasperini confirmed after the match that Kony's injury appears to be more serious than Dybala's, noting that the final diagnosis will be determined after the necessary medical examinations.

The injuries are causing concern within AS Roma ahead of their upcoming commitments, as doubts linger over the participation of the players in the match against Genoa on October 17, as well as the encounter with SSC Napoli scheduled for October 24, pending the results of medical examinations.
