Mbappé's mother questioned in Senhaji case

Faiza Alami, mother of Kylian Mbappé, star of Real Madrid and his agent, has entered the judicial investigation in France related to the case known as the Senhaji case, concerning Mohamed Senhaji, the former head of security for the French national team, and suspicions of exploiting his position and relationships to gain advantages outside the scope of his official duties.

According to the French newspaper "L'Équipe", Amari was questioned before three investigating judges and was granted the status of a witness with the help of a lawyer, while Mbappé himself provided his testimony in the case. The investigation also included a search of the player's mother's home.

Authorities are investigating a request attributed to Al-Amari regarding Senhaji's intervention to facilitate the acquisition of four visas, alongside financial transactions involving the former official and a Real Madrid striker.

In June 2023, Kylian Mbappé donated €60,300 to security personnel who worked during the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. The player's entourage clarified that the amount was a gesture of gratitude for the services provided, without any compensation. It is also suspected that Mbappé lent an additional €120,000 to Senhaji, through his mother, to help him purchase a house, bringing the total amount in the two transactions to €180,300.

Investigations aim to determine whether Senhaji exploited his position and relationships for undue advantages, and the mention of Faiza Al-Amari or Kylian Mbappé in the investigation does not imply that they committed any violations.
