Kane continues to make European history and sends strong message to Ulysses
Harry Kane, the English forward for Bayern Munich, continues to impress in the UEFA Champions League, having boosted his scoring record and achieved a remarkable milestone during the German team's 3-3 draw against Norwegian Viking, in a match that saw the dismissal of his French teammate Michael Olise.
Harry Kane has become the first player to score in nine consecutive UEFA Champions League matches since Robert Lewandowski, who achieved the same feat while playing for Bayern Munich in November 2021. The English striker continues to assert his presence among the top stars of the continental competition.
The England captain has increased his tally to 12 goals in the UEFA Champions League during 2026, leading by at least three goals over any other player during the same period.
After the match, Kane expressed his dissatisfaction with the draw, saying: "We had a poor first half, but we started the second half well and managed to get back into the game. However, the red card changed everything."
He added: "Oles will feel very frustrated, and he has to take responsibility for what happened. He made a mistake, and mistakes happen, but he needs to learn from this situation."
Harry Kane concluded his statements: "It's unfortunate, especially as we have important matches ahead. We should have won this game considering the level we showed in the second half, but when you make mistakes like that, you pay the price."
