Napoli target Gavi's signing in January

SSC Napoli are interested in signing Gavi, the midfielder from FC Barcelona, during the upcoming winter transfer window, as his role with the Catalan team has diminished and he may seek a greater opportunity for playing time.

According to the Catalan newspaper "El Nacional", SSC Napoli are preparing to make an official offer to sign the player, worth €30 million fixed, plus €10 million in variables, a value that FC Barcelona may consider acceptable, although the deal has not been finalized yet.

Gavi returned to the starting lineup against Getafe after missing out since the first round of LaLiga against Elche due to injury, but the player did not deliver his best performance before being substituted by coach Hans Flick during the match.

Gavi does not feel satisfied with his current role, as he believes that regular participation is essential to regain his best form. He does not wish to continue as a backup player, and although his primary goal is to succeed with FC Barcelona, the continuation of the current situation could push him to leave in January, either to SSC Napoli or to another club.
