European competition for Pavlovic's signature

Manchester United have entered the race to sign Aleksandar Pavlovic, the Bayern Munich midfielder, amid interest from Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain, according to TEAMtalk.

The site reported, citing "Fussball News", that the four clubs are seriously considering signing Pavlovic, who is 22 years old and has become one of the key players at Bayern Munich thanks to his performances in the defensive midfield position.

Manchester City were the first to act, having inquired about the possibility of signing the player and expressing their readiness to make an offer of €100 million, which is equivalent to £84 million. However, Bayern Munich refused to move, stating that they do not wish to sell the player under any circumstances.

Manchester United are looking to strengthen their midfield after signing Carlos Baleba, André Santos, and Youri Tielemans during the summer, amid questions about the suitability of Santos and Tielemans for the team's long-term needs.
