Mazraoui to miss clash against Atlético Madrid

Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui continues to be sidelined from Manchester United, having confirmed his absence for the clash against Atlético Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

According to the official website of the English club, Mazraoui will miss the match along with Patrick Dorgu, Benjamin Šeško, and Manuel Ogarte, while there are doubts over the fitness of Luke Shaw and Kobie Mainoo, who participated in the last match against Tottenham before missing the recent training sessions.

Manchester United are entering this match in a difficult situation regarding results, having failed to secure a victory in their last four matches, following a strong start in the Champions League that was crowned with a thrashing win over Sabah of Azerbaijan by four goals to nil.

Manchester United drew 1-1 with Tottenham in their last Premier League match, conceding the equaliser in stoppage time, as the team continues its search to regain balance ahead of their European fixture.
